Call of Duty is a first-person shooter where players control a soldier and complete missions or compete against other players online. Call of Duty also includes many game modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, and Hardpoint. These modes give players different goals beyond simply eliminating opponents. Objective-based modes are especially important because they encourage teamwork and strategy. This variety is one of the reasons Call of Duty multiplayer has stayed popular for so many years.
